Jonathon A. Katcher, Vice President
Jonathon A. Katcher is a partner in the Anchorage law firm Pope & Katcher and has been practicing law in Alaska since 1981. He is a graduate of the Northwestern School of Law – Lewis and Clark College, and the University of Michigan. He recently served as President of the Alaska Bar Association.
Katcher, age 52, was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He has been married 27 years to Kate Michaels, a public elementary school teacher. They have two children, Ari, age 20, is a guitarist and composer for the rock band "The Lives of Famous Men", formerly of Anchorage and now of Portland, Oregon, where he also attends Portland State University; and Michelle, age 13, a middle school student whose interests include ballet.
Katcher’s interests include family, music, skiing, biking, kayaking, hiking, camping, theater, film and reading.
