Careen Muir, Board Member
Careen Muir grew up in Anchorage and graduated from Service High School. She is married and the mother of three sons and one daughter – ages 26, 20, 11, and 10.
Careen is in the real estate profession since 1995 and has twelve years experience in the industry. Careen has been consistently one of the Top Producers for many years and is well respected in the real estate profession and in our community.
Many outdoor activities are enjoyed in the Muir home, including boating, snow machining, skiing and biking. Her children are involved with soccer and hockey; and her husband has run in the Iron Man Race twice.
Careen, with fellow board members, Bettsie Wild and Terri Smith, organized a fundraising event in two weeks that included a live auction, silent auction and wine tasting and raised approximately $40,000 in a two hour period. Money raised was for a dear friend who was diagnosed with brain cancer.
