"Fashions for Food" Fashion Show
Dare to Care’s“Fashions for Food” – Charity Fashion ShowThursday, July 12, 2007
Kayne Gillaspie, a designer from Project Runway, has graciously agreed to come to Alaska and put on a benefit fashion show to help raise money for the program. Kayne is an award-winning designer who is well known in the fashion arena. The event will be focused on formal wear and will include both men and women fashions.
Men’s formal wear and additional women’s fashions will be provided by Nordstrom. The event will also feature men’s and women’s jeans and tops from Alaska’s own, Paige Adams-Gellar. Paige Jeans are worn by many Hollywood celebrities such as Tyra Banks, Renee Zellweger, Shania Twain, Kanye West, Matt Damon, and many more.

NORDSTROM has partnered with Dare to Care to help make this event a huge success. The event will be held Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Anchorage Nordstrom store. Nordstrom will close early that evening and open the second floor into a fabulous fashion paradise that will take your breath away. Dessert and champagne will be served and door prizes will be given away to lucky attendees. Models will be provided by the Laura’s Model and Talent Agency. Both Nordstrom and the Laura’s Model and Talent Agency are donating their time and efforts to make this event a huge success. All proceeds for the event will go to Dare to Care and bring them closer to their goal of ensuring “No Child Goes Hungry” in our community. Tickets can be purchased at the Customer Service Counter for $40.00 or online. |
