Dare to Care's Third Annual Gala Fundraiser will be Saturday, February 7, 2009, at the new Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center. This black-tie affair will include a seated dinner, silent and live auctions, and live music by Silver Train. Depending on his filming schedule, we hope to again be joined by James Denton and his wife, Erin O'Brien Denton. Mr. Denton currently plays Mike Delfino in the Golden Globe award winning “Desperate Housewives.”

At this time, we are selling corporate sponsors for this event. We are also providing the option for your business to “adopt a school” for which your business will receive recognition that it is ensuring that “No Child Goes Hungry” in that school for one year.

Dare to Care has been blessed with volunteers and support that has allowed all funds donated to go directly to feeding the identified children. Your support and dedication allows Dare to Care to continue with its mission that “No Child Goes Hungry.” Ninety-eight percent of all donations go directly to feeding children in our community.
